Was thinking of upgrading my irons (MP-60, DG R300 SL shaft), either replacing the shafts or the whole club. I was fitted for the Mizuno's but I've had a quite a lot of swing changes and a firmer shaft seems to be in order.

My instructor recommended the Project X shafts, and I tried a 5.0 and 6.0. Though a 5.5 might be perfect. I was on the verge of buying the Callaway X-forged, then remebering Birdieman's post about Bridgestone, Srixon et al getting in under the radar I searched ebay and I came across a set of Bridestone J33CB Irons.

Cavity backed player's irons. Endo forged, Project X 5.5 shafts, seem in excellent nick, recently re-gripped with New Decade Multi Compound grips! Seems a bit of a bargain! Can't wait to try them!

Have you bought them? Could be good....

I have to say I would have re-shafted the Mizunos. MP-60 is one the best ever made.

I've been through a few set of shafts with my irons rather than risk a new set. Tend to go for True Temper.....these here Project X look awfully expensive.

Are you considering selling the Mp-60

if so id be interested. How old are they? price?

Liam

I would consider selling the MP-60's. They are 13 months old, fitted with True Temper R300 SL shafts, mid-size grips. Lie and loft are standard.

Regarding price I have no idea. Once I've tried out the Bridgestones I'll have a think about it and let you know. Cheers!
