got back from practicing today to a wonderful surprise of my new EZ forged mizunos waiting for me, had some lunch and a short rest then straight back to the range as I could not wait to give them a hit.
They are even better looking than I remember, I know plenty of people think the EZ and EZ forged are ugly but I think that's because they are comparing them to other mizunos. They are also much thinner than an I remember, much more so than my MX25s but seem more forgiving overall.
This really was my first proper hit with them because at the fitting I had a mare and could not make clean contact to save my life. I still struggled a little with extra 1/2 length and +3 lie especially in the longer irons but I am sure this is just something I will get used too after 5 years of using different spec clubs. When I started catching them right they just flew, I was hitting PW about 10 yards short of where my 7 used to reach.
Thanks again to Mizuno and GM for a great day and a brilliant set of clubs
Wonder how the other two will fare with their MP54s
