Went to get some new aqls today but had some time to kill so tried on a variety of shoes. Adidas, footjoy, stuburt, callaway and Nike. Surprisingly the callaway came home with me. They are the hyperbolic sl model and Christ they are comfy and oddly stylish...... got a cracking deal by getting 45 quid knocked off them.

The leather on these always felt a little plasticy especially the ones I've seen in AG (not seen them anywhere else). Personally I don't think Cally should be diversifying into that market anyway. I can see why Nike, Adidas and Mizuno have as they have a proven history in sport shoe manufacturing. I wasn't blown away by the Cally designs and to me they and Ecco just don't look nice although I accept they may indeed by comfy. For me a shoe has to look good and feel good too which these don't (in my opinion) and where FJ scores

Lakes golf, were reduced from 120 to 90 but got him to do them for 75. Warranty for a year waterproof 2 years etc so any probs and I'll be back for another pair! They look and feel trainer like and the leather is really soft not plasticky. Hopefully they will be fine!

I was looking for shoes earlier in the year and ended up with a pair of these

Yip a pair of Hi-tec golf shoes, not only that they are extremely comfortable, touch wood I've not had wet feet yet either.

Enjoying these so much I've just ordered another pair of Hi-tec golf shoes.

Nice looking shoes :). Where did you get them from?

Played 18 today and can wholeheartedly recommend the callies! Very comfortable and no foot fatigue after a long slog round the mud pit.
