So, picked up my new Mizuno JPX 825 Pro irons this morning, just in time for my first round at my new course tomorrow morning. They are absolutely stunning and I can't wait to have a hit with them!
However, in an effort to restore the balance of happiness/unhappiness, I dropped my iPhone 5 out of my pocket this afternoon and the screen has cracked in several directions. Cost to repair??? £275.00!!! :(

Is your screen made of pure gold

You should be able to get it fixed for much, much less than that!

Nice shineys BTW. Pros look awesome

Have fun with the new shinies in the morning and hope you can get the iPhone screen fixed cheaper? Insurance on it maybe even through bank account or such?

That's why iPhones are crap screens break too easy Samsung galaxy screens are great

I'm fairly sure that if a Galaxy was dropped using exactly the same conditions, it would break as well.

Gutted about the phone...but I am sure it could be fixed a lot cheaper than £275! How are the 825 Pros? I have the 800 Pros and interested to know the difference....

If it is just the actual glass and not the digitiser/lcd sdcreen the glass is £20 to buy on ebay and plenty of guides on the internet to diy. I replaced on of our directors ipad3 screens a while back and it was quite straight forward.

Lovely clubs, what shafts did you get.

Gutted about the phone!!! Was 275 a guess or have you been quoted that?

My understanding is that the glass and digitiser/LCD screen comes as one replacement 'package'.

Who quoted that - dick Turpin?

Our local market has two stalls who specialise in mobile repairs and my daughter has had two iPhone 4 screens replaced both cost £40 each
