New Shineys Dilemma

Collected my new Shineys today and they're lurverly:clap:
Now the dilemma. Do I use them at the range only till the spring comes (keep them shiney) put them into play straight away (will get dirty) or save them till spring (they will torment).

Your thoughts please:thup:

I'd compromise and hit the range for a couple of sessions to get the feel of them and then get out and play with them. Otherwise why buy them?

I nearly didn't use my new vokey the first time I went into a bunker. looked too good to ruin.

I said nearly, I did use it and it gets abused just like every other club.

They are really shiny. Nice. But I agree with what most other posters have said: they are there to be used. What use are golf clubs if you are afraid to get them dirty. Reminds me of a story I had in my first grade text book in school about a little boy who did not want to go into the swimming pool because he did not want his new trunks to get wet.
