Looking for a new set of irons, had my heart set on a set of Ping G10's however even 2nd hand sets seem to be stretching my budget to the max. Someone mentioned on another thread about Wilson Di11's, after a little searching I have found a couple of second hand Di7's for about £70 on fleabay or a brand new set of Di9's for £199 at American Golf.

Looking for a bit of forgiveness in my irons and will be looking to play to a single figure handicap come the end of the season. Can anyone recommend the Wilson irons ?

I've hit the di9 6 and 7 irons a few times and I have to say I quite like them, quite easy to get airborne and were a good 15 yards further than my current irons, he head is not overly bulky too, good clubs IMO

The Di7s are very nice clubs but they aren't considered to be 'Single-Figure handicapper's clubs but if they work then great, personally I think that if you could, possibly look at the Di9s as from what I understand the newer models are slightly better

I have a set of Cleveland cg16s 5-pw that may fit your needs. Was going to post then on here for sale next week.

Can't go wrong with any of the ping G series! Ok, they look a bit chunky at address, but they are full of forgiveness and are high launching!

What he said, but for the Wilson D-FY irons. They have the Half steel and half graphite shafts, are super forgiving and super long when you need them to be. The advantage of combo irons
