Decided to treat ourselves to a new quilt, at the mo we have a duck and goose type but it is knackered. Called into TK Maxx and came a cross a massively reduced Snuggledown White duck down one. It felt gorgeous. £67 it was, opened it up and it had a small tear in it.
Aaaaaaaaargh flippin argh, never mind al do some surfing when I get home. Flippin Eck some of them are £200 plus. I would want a magic carpet for that.
look like buying her a sleeping bag instead. At least the sales are on.

I assume you are taking it back?

i bought a 2 piece feather duvet about 20 yrs ago from Alders for £99

Best thing I ever bought and it's still as good as the day I bought it.

We have a memory foam mattress and a 13.5 tog quilt, Missis T loves it. Me its like sleeping inside Vesuvius. The quilt feathers are getting a bit brittle. It is a feather quilt we have but the one in TK Max is a down quilt. it felt gorgeous. Not in a rush, and there's usually a bedding sale after every Christmas.

you know what, ave just thought, I never turned my nose up paying £300 for a crap SLDR driver but think £100 is dear for a decent quilt. What's up wi me.

The SLDR was worth the cash for gaining those extra yards....would a new quilt give you any added length??

I just bought a Hungarian goose feathered quilt and 2 pillows the same. 13.5 tog, cost me about £50 for all of it. The duvet is good, quite light but warm. Feather pillows have a nasty habit of trying to suffocate me though.

Too much information!!!
All the best Andy to you and yours, looking forward to the next instalments of Christmas at 'Chez Tashy'

On about me quilt Mal, me quilt 😉
Had a busy day, bloody thunderbirds Tracy island tipped me over the edge trying to build it up. Having another bash at it today, or should I say Missis T 😁

New 80% duck down 20% feather quilt ordered. I will officially be spending the rest of my sleeping nights in a bods nest. 😑💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤
