Hi,

i'm in the process of buying a new putter. I currently have an Odyssey White Hot #1 34" Putter and have enjoyed its company for the past 2 years.

After trying a few out down at American Golf i have decided that i want to stick with Odyssey as they offer such a wide variety of choice and i generally enjoy using them.

The one that has particularly caught my attention is the Odyssey White Hot XG 2-Ball F7.

I was just wondering if anyone already has what you really think of it??

Any comments would be most appreciated!!

Jon ;)

I havn't tried the model you mention but you certain have picked the right time to buy an oddyesey.

I love odyssey putters and bought a wilson deep red as an experiment, it didnt work out too well and cemented my faith in oddysey.

I will be buying a number 9 at some point!

That's funny. I tried out this baby the other day....(we exchanged a post or two on this) and found it horrible....

IN fact, when I can be arsed, I need to post a thread on C/F putters, I had a DISASTER the other day when I went to try some.......

Yes the face insert is a little too soft and I found it hard to get the ball to the hole on long putts.

Also, I like to grip down the club for more control and found with a shorter shaft, I seemed to be missing some kind of balance from above the hands.

I have a putting lesson next wednesday with the club pro, so going to see what he suggests!
