Hi guys, don't post on here too much so forgive me if i've put this into the wrong forum :)

I am looking for a new putter and i need some advice on what putters everyone has and if they recommend them. I currently have a Sabretooth but i just hate the alignment of it, i would much prefer something a bit more simple. So i would ideally like a blade putter. My money range would probably be £100 downwards.

Cheers for any advice,
Oh and by the way if its relevant i play of 22

Hi I have a "yes" Victoria which is a small mallett and I LOVE it, "Yes" also do a range of blades. Just type yes putters into your browser and have a look at their range, also they willfit it to your spec. The factory is in Southport :D

I'd pop into your local(ish) golf superstore, or your club Pro shop and just try as may as you can, ideally on a green.

You'll soon get a feel for what you like and don't like. Both in terms of looks and playability.

Maybe something inbetween, like a half mallet, like the Bettinardi BC3 (other makes available!), may suit you. But I just don't know.

Go and have a pleasant afternoon trying different types out. You'll enjoy it.

I have an Odyssey 2-ball but am really struggling with it at the moment. I am now using a 25ish year old classic style putter I "borrowed" from my father in law.

Scotty Camerons come in various shapes and I would recommend them ( made by Titleist)

I have the Newport 2 which I have had a few years now, sits lovely and has a lovely weight.

for £100 though there is plenty of choice my advice would be to take your time and try and few till you find something you like

If you're spending over £100 you could get a Scotty. If you want something traditional there will be a Scotty somewhere that suits you, but like everyone else will say, you must try a wide range before you take the plunge.

Cheers for the advice guys. Was always going to try the putters out first, i just had no idea what to look at because i havent kept in touch with new putters since i bought the sabretooth. I may borrow a Yes putter from the Pro shop for 9 holes tomorrow night and have a look at it actually

THE PUTTER.... The only club you use on every hole unless you chip in a lot.

Try them all out and ask for a loan for a game before committing. Also look at last years models, especially TM ones, that could prove to be 50% cheaper than current models.

I have just got the Scotty Kombi just magic but maybe out of your price range.

The Sabertooth kicks ass and unlike alot of other putters mentioned here it looks very sexy too.

A Redwood for under £100 is a good shout also though. Nice range.

Thank you Ethan, but I know what a blade putter looks like.
The OP wanted something simple to use from YES and as the Morgan is £249, I simply suggested the Callie as it is a copy of the classic Ping Anser that has been copeid by everybody, except Ping of course.
