Supposed to be harder to counterfeit... Hopefully, been told about one in five of the pound note coins in your pocket will be a fake...

They are rife in stevange, I always check my change properly as I have had loads given to me over the years.

Percentage of counterfeit ones is considerable smaller than 20% - according to figures in the Budget. 3% was the figure mentioned. Any government would have acted sharpish if it was higher than that - they'd at least be wanting to tax the income!

Looks like Stevenage area could be a source though!
