Hi All

First time on forum, hope you all well and playing good golf.

I back playing for about a year after approx 10 years without swinging a club. Handicap 15 at present

Living in Ireland but in process of moving back to Scotland(Borders area)

Welcome to the forum, smange.

Naturally, we are ALL playing good golf. This is certainly not one of those forums (fora?) where we're seeking re-assurance about the inadequacies of our own games or a friendly shoulder to cry on after THAT 8 on the the last which cost us the monthly medal in 2004. You definitely won't get any of that kind of nonsense here. We're all "In the Zone" and "feeling the positive vibes" about our next round......

Nope. It's still not working, guys. Who's got the Bob Rotella book this week?

Ahh, Night shift. Don't you just love it? Working Friday night when we've had the best two days of the year so far.

Anyway, Welcome to the Forum. Having trawled round most of the other main fora* I can confirm that this is the most sensible and knowledgable one by far (present company excluded.)

Have fun and drive safely.

* The Latin plural of "forum" is "fora".Sorry.

Yours in golf.
The prince of pedantry..
Atticus.

Hold on a minute. Madandra posting at 7.40am on a Saturday. Now that's ungodly. Off to the fridge with the Irn Bru pangs after a good night out, I reckon.

Smange, if you leave your shoes out tonight, Atticus will fix them for you while you sleep.

John, I have the most amazing wee girl who is perfect in every way EXCEPT SHE WON'T SLEEP TIL AFTER 7A.M. I get up with her on a Saturday (she helps me clean the clubs) an the other 'alf has the Sundays cos my bones are usually aching after a medal.

This just shows the passion of our forum members - i come back after a weekend away and there a shed loads of posts for me to enjoy at my desk on what for me feels like a monday morning!
