Went up to use the range last night after work. Course looked empty so thought I'd have 9. Played those level par so done the back too and finsihed with a 73 for +1. Only missed 3 greens. 5 bogeys and 4 birdies. Plus 3/4 holes that really should have been birdies.

This is off the back of a horror show 87 in the medal on Sunday. Also only took me 1 hr 55 to get round. Love millionaires golf. Guess the next PB will be a big one if I can ever do it.

Excellent shooting lad. must of been a nice wee buzz standing on 18 knowing a wee bird would get you level par. Did you have a putt at it?

I was +2 on the 18th tee. Nice little wedge to about 5 door for the birdie. Had 2 3 putts in there too so disappointed with that.

Well played that man.

And don't beat yourself up over the three stabs. That may be two shots left out there, but how many did you come in with? By that, I mean long putts dropping, chip-ins etc, basically anything that was unexpected that was good for you - a kind of positive opposite to the negative of a three-putt. A bit of work needed I'm sure, but don't obsess, or you may forget all the other good stuff you did.

Yeah I never get too down about the missed shots. I can honestly say I didn't have any holes where I was expecting worse. I had a birdie putt on 15 greens, nothing more than 30 feet but most around 15-20. The 3 greens I missed were not by much, but didn't manage to get up and down which is the area I know I need to improve. Now just need to put the rounds together in the comps and get the handicap down. Consistentcy has always been my problem.
