Evening all.

Have had good chats in the past on here re:music and some more left of field bands in particular. Not sure if this is frowned upon (if it is, please pull post), but recently I've been writing for an US based music site called bestnewbands.com. Only written a few pieces so far but the site is developing well in t'states and is a well worth a visit for anybody interested in new music. The last thing I wrote is here - http://www.bestnewbands.com/album-reviews/item/3413-johnny-flynn-a-country-mile

Love to hear any feedback!

(p.s there's a random '/' in that article somewhere, if you find it, you win a free pinnacle gold).

To most people on this board I expect new music is anything made after 1985. ;)

I'm not a fan of the new folk stuff as it leave me a bit cold. But I will check out the site in the future as I am always up for some new music to listen to. I sometimes wish i was 15 again now as in my day you had the NME and Melody Maker to guide you. Nowadays you have Spotify and all number of web sites meaning you can discover great new bands in seconds.
