New Mizuno MX-700

I've never been one for Mizuno drivers but i'll be going down to the range to try out one of these as it's a very nice looking piece of kit.

These are arguably good looking clubs, although I think I prefer the simple looks of some of their older drivers. These ones have quite a lot going on!

I'd be interested to see this thread develope as some of you manage to get your hands on the clubs and try them out?

Are they targeted towards a specific handicap group?

Morning Neil

What can I say..It looks OK, but it's very difficult to do justice to any golf club from a photo. Although I would have liked to have seen the driver photogrphed from the toe (bit like the first photo, but with out seeing the bottom) this would show the flatening of the back.

Unfortunately, Mizuno have only told us that their fairway woods and hybrid will come with a stock Exsar shaft.

I'd say they will offer a few different options - probably something by the likes of Aldila and Fujikura. Watch this space... If I get any details, I'll keep you posted.

I take it the mx-700 replaces last years MX series?
Anyone needed to compare the upcoming (I think it is upcoming) MP700 vs the MP600 of last year? That would be entertaining to see if it is any better than the already ace MP600.

Thank you Neil,
I have a Mizuno MX560 with a ladies flex shaft. I would be interested to know what advances are built into the new model.

My god those are some ugly woods!

Either that or I've had too many glasses of claret :p!
