Hi guys I have found this pic of the new Mizuno MP630 driver, I had an mp600 and although I tried I just couldn't get on with it,so it went. This looks great and I'll def give it a swish you never know it may be as good as it looks eh!

Apparently Hapless it has 45 weighting combination's according to Luke Donald's blog on the Mizzy website. That for me is going a little too far.

Mizuno make DRIVERS???? :D :D

I wouldn't touch one... and it seems you couldn't hit the one you had. Ever heard the expression 'once bitten twice shy'?

Places to start>> Callaway.. Titleist.. Ping... Taylor Made.

:D

(Is that a mud/grass/rust collection channel under the club???)

Just what I was thinking. Perhaps Mizuno should provide an appropriate sized brush to keep the thing clean.

This is the freddie who thinks every one should have blades, and hybrids should be banned then? Looking at a pig ugly GI driver with some tin pot adjustable mechanism to make the game easier? Shame. What happened to principles? Is it because it has Mizuno written on it perhaps?

Looks good to me. Used Taylormade drivers the last few years, tried a MP600 a few weeks ago. Changed my r7425 for a SH MP600. Even made the move back to my old F50 3 wood that i had to stop using coz i couldn't hit the thing. would now recommend any Mizuno wood, not just the irons.

the mp600 is a great driver so i expect this to be good too, itcan catch mud and grass in the track (down to the occasional bad swing), but its nothing a tee cant handle, just scrape it round and out comes the dirt.

I'm not a fan of theses adjustable drivers anyway and this seems to be the latest reincarnation of their original MP 600. Mizuno have a poor record for producing quality and useable woods especially when compared to the quality of their irons and not many tour players use them (maybe more so in the Far East but certainly not on the European and US tours). I think that says a lot when players prefer a Titleist, TM, Cally or Ping

Dont like MWT on any driver, I think its gimmicky. You aren't allowed to change the set up during a round either so what's the point?
From the top (which is how it looks when you address the ball) it looks like every other 460cc driver out there, doesn't it?
The funky headcover doesn't mean diddly, I have an old style woollen sock with pompom on mine - quality! ;)
