I have played it a few times but not since 2005. I played Shotts (hmy home course) on Saturday and it was in good condition considering the rain we have had recently.

I have been a memeber for 4 years now,i have heard a few stories about Carnwaths finances,waiting to see what happens reguarding them,i am thinking of joining Westerwood,its closer to home and has improved a lot,we will be playing Shotts this year in the league,looking forward to that havent played there for a while.

It is going to be fantastic up there this year as they have used the money given for the course wisely. I get on well with the head green keeper who is bursting with pride at what the guys have done and what they are going to do.

The moose isnt spending a penny on the course this year all the money is going on a coaching facility that is already to small to suit the purpose,we dont have a greenkeeper as the owners refuse to pay the salary,thats why a lot of single figure handicap players have moved or are moving on,myself included.
