New member saying Hi

Hi all, just wanted.to I.troduce myself as a new member, been playin since I was 13 but took a long overdue
Break to play rugby league, joined my local club this week and itching to get back swinging again. Have a good day everyone and anyone who fancies a knock in the north manchester area let me know.

I remember playing in Oldham quite a lot, it was always bloody freezing. Even in mid summer.. They breed em big and tough up there..

Do you remeber a player called Paul Norman? I think he played for Oldham for a while. Would be about 15-20 yrs ago...

Started out as a second row, then converted to prop. Tall and rangey but strong as an oxe. We played in the same team and i.ve never seen anybody as naturally strong in my life. I used to hate working the tackling bags with him as he would knock me into next week..

Yea definatly remember him, didnt look the biggest but a really good strong runner and worker, always played with a forearm pad on I think

Welcome- I also had a break to play Rugby UNION:ears: which coincided with girls/pubs/parties and leaving school....so it was many many lifetimes ago........still got friends my age playing everyweek they are mad and their rugby tops look like they've been spray painted on now they're that tight:rofl:
