so I havent hit a ball for what feels like ages and my last round was at least 9 months back (Madadey was there so must have been a while lol)

Has equipment changed much in that time and do I need to reinvest before hitting the course?

;)

(pointless thread btw before anyone moans)

EVERYTHING has changed since you were last on here!

Welcome back, where you been hiding?

Nah, I've been using 12yo clubs recently and still managing to chop it round

been working away since last august, got a few weeks left but the recent weather and a couple of weeks off has given me the bug back :)
(that might change after a range session tomorrow lol)

I must say a new driver is tempting already and haven't hit a ball yet haha

Likewise - Nah! The 25 yo irons I've just acquired seem to work even better than the 20 yo ones I've been using!

Only the Driver, and maybe 1 of the hybrids, is anything like recent!

It ain't going to make any difference to either of our games!

Seriously, Good to have you back!
Get stuck in..

you never know, the break might have given me a dream swing.... NAH I doubt it :D

I have gained 2 stones of belly to help get a bit more welly behind it though haha

You seriously need to have a look at the new equipment out at this moment in time, I fear your clubs may be ancient now.
Taylormade alone have released 4 new lines in the last 9 months and at 15yds extra each time you could be seriously behind on distance, if your driver is an older model you could not even be driving 300yds?

We should get a round in this summer!

Welcome back buddy, all I will say is I recently swapped my Tp cb's (same as yours) to this years MC's..... I'm not convinced it was a wise move even 6 months in 😞

Few tinnies and couple of hours on the bay and...

"doing a G1BBO" will be back in the forum lexicon in no time

I've recently taken a step backward driver-wise to a Titleist 909 D2 thanks to Alex1975, and I'm loving it!

You don't need new kit you knob, just get out there and play!
