Hey guys started playing about a yr ago and regularly find myself going round about +18 at the moment, always promised myself some new irons once I got consistent so after finding myself at this new score all the time I've decided to treat myself, no real budget at the moment but interested in the jpx range, ap2, nike vrs etc
Any suggestions and should I go brand new or eBay??
Cheers

Go to your pro mate and ask to try a few demo clubs and decide what feels best. What people recommend can feel good for them but not for you.

Try before you buy and try as many as you can. What one mans likes another will hate. I wanted another set of good player clubs like my TM Tour Preferred but the G25 were the ones for me so keep an open mind

You have to try as many as possible, preferably with a launch monitor. My TM burners were sold this week (ebay),I was desperate for some I20's, Ap2's, rocketblade tour, etc etc, no, the Game improvement G25's arrived today.
No point in buying new or used if they don't work for you.

Try Chilli Dip on the A6 at Blackrod. They've plenty of Demo clubs that they'll let you take out on the range. The lads that work there are spot on, Very knowledgable and no hard sell.

They don't sell Mizuno though:(

Funny you should mention that I'm there tomorrow! Don't suppose you know if they sell ping? Would love to try the g25s!

Yep, Mainly Ping, Titleist, TM and Cobra. They should have plenty of Demo options. They also have Demo days on there, Worth Keeping an eye on.

Also if you're looking at Ping don't rule out the Pro at Bolton GC. He's a Ping stockist and knows his stuff
