Hi - Can anyone let me know how much a rough price would be for a custom set of mid range irons? I will go to my pro for fitting etc but want to know if £250-£300 would be enough?

You may need to go a little higher mate, but if your pro will price match you should be able to find some good prices on line for an off the shelf set. Do you have any irons in mind?

For that sort of budget your gonna struggle , if that's top line then prob better of getting down to ag or direct and hitting as many different irons as you can and working out the best for you

Hard to know without knowing anything about your game mate, HC, current irons etc

For that budget though your looking at off the shelf special offers from fore24, American golf etc. head along to AG to try some of them

Cheapest custom fit I've come across we're £379 for Wilson Ci11's last year from a pro near me

I got Ping G25's coming tomorrow and Snaiton are quoting £499 without taking into account any fitting charge. Mine was suppose to be £125 at Pachesham Golf Club but the guy only charged £90 and I as there for 3 1/2 hours. Some places will take the charge of a fitting off the price if you buy

Homer Im confused as to why you would have a 3hr+ custom fit somewhere and then buy the clubs from a different retailer. Just playing devils advocate slightly but if something doesnt seem quite right a few weeks or months down the road who are you going to approach to question the issues and get any tweaks done or are you just assuming that the one off fit will definitely be correct?

I think he did have them from the same place he had the fitting, he's using Snaiton as an example I believe.

I may be wrong though :mmm:
