new irons

Well.... Sorted new irons. Didnt bother with custom fit done it twice didnt make a diff if anything my irons from a few years back were always more on target that the two custom sets. Anyway......
Ping i 15s are now mine standard loft and lie with the awt shaft stiff flex. They were the most solid i tried. Tried them before also when i bought my other irons and always liked them hope i have made the right choice but only time will tell.
Guess you dont have to be a coffin dodger to own pings as im only 33

A guy in our fourball swapped from his well used Ping EYE 2's to a set of I15's and it has taken him a month or two to hit them as well, Id say get down the range at Galgorm and hit hundreds! Great excuse to get out of the house.

I was looking at some the other day but I just do not like not having a ferrule on the hosel, I know it's just cosmetic but it was off putting for me, good luck with them though I hope you get on with them mate. No finer feeling than having new bats in the bag.

the awt shafts arent great, bit balloony! but appart from that they are some great bats

Thanks toby, I thought the shafts were ok when I tried them, might be diff on the course, hopefuly they will go as well!!

i tried the i15's a while back and thought they were fantastic. If i had the funds at the moment i wouldnt hesitate in getting them. im only 26 too

If he has a naturaly low ball flight then a more launching shaft will be spot on. Horses for courses.
