Just finished ordering my new mizuno jpx 800 pro's

Total cost 540 quid. (4-pw)

Gone with the Dynalite Gold XP stiff flex shafts in the end and 1.5 deg flat.

Big setup from ping g2's but am ready!!! Bring on ballyliffen grrrrr LOL

Enjoy the new irons and give em a couple of weeks to break them in before expecting too much. Recently changed to my Burners and thought 'what have I done' then it started to click

Good luck with new clubs, I got a set of Wilson FG59's on Tuesday. Only managed 9 holes so far though as the weather is crap just now.

Hendy you tart, I'd have put money on you buying the ap2's if you had tried them. At least you didn't go for the g15s that start at a 5iron these days

Lovely club and definitely one I'd try again if I was looking to change. I think you've made a good choice and it sounds a reasonable price too

@bready - yea i did hit the ap2's tho the computer said no.. The jpx's give me a better return. I love to carry a 3 and 4 iron but limited with having 4 wedges. but things will change this season droping the 5 wood out to start with.

@homer - thanks, not the clubs i was thinking i was going to end up ordered but i think they are the right ones for me at the stage i am at now to make the move down from 15. I like having a smaller sole on the 9 and pw for chip shots around the greeen etc

Hopefully i will be posting back in a few weeks saying how good they are and how my HC is falling lol

You have exactly the same set up as me!...except I'm manly and also got a 3 iron

Had them since October and think they are the perfect club for anyone on a midteen handicap looking to get cut.I feckin love my clubs.

My Mizuno fitting is scheduled for may 7th

Have been browsing around the golf shops here in Japan and found Mizuno gear is massively expensive, JPX800 irons - 800 quid for a set.......In addition to the 800 pro, they also have the 800AD at a higher price. Lots of interesting Mizuno bits and bobs for the Mizuno whores out there (gloves, balls, belts, ball markers etc.) but the yen rate is so strong at the moment, paying 15 quid for a ball marker is way too much.
