new irons arrived - very excited

at home today nursing a bit of hangover after fairly major GM drinks last night to celebrate end of issue but feeling more chipper as new irons have just arrived

gone for a mix of the new MacGregor MT PROs
Shallow cavity 4,5 and 6
Muscle back blades 7,8,9 and PW

Nippon 1150 Tour shafts and the Golf Pride DD2 grips

not due to wield them until Monday but may have to try and venture out to the range before then. will report back as and when have hit them

I'm scared now. Beware the golfer with new equipment. Batteries still fully charged in them and looking all shiny. Guess that means we get an extra shot next week then

OOOH! They sound so gorgeous!

My last 2 sets were blended, Hogan FTX preceded by Srixon pro 100 blades 6-pw forged cavity 3-5 rifle 6.5 flighted shafts.

Only got all blades now because I didnt like the look of the vega cavitys.

I think the new macgregor clubs are very nice looking. I have a progressive set of macgregors at the moment and like them a lot.

Hope they serve you well.

I swapped my Mizuno's MP60's for a set of Forged MacGregor M685's and i glad i did. Not as nice looking in the bag but for a similar ball flight they are longer and more forgiving.
