How comes no one is raving about them on here.

Watched the news this morning and saw a guy going mad on telly, thought he had won a gold medal at the Paralympics. Turns out he was the first person to buy an iPhone. Sad act.

I don't think there is enough to rave about. Very similar to the 6/6s, haptic home key is about it. I got one today as my upgrade and to be honest I'd rather have the old home button! Processing speed is better but probs not enough to reallly notice slightly better camera, but really it's just a slightly better 6.

It's probably not much better than the one it's replacing or the one before that.
I just stick with Apple because all my Photos on iCloud.
Plus I'm use to using them having had iPhones for a few years now.

This hits the nail on the head for a lot of users.....just like bank accounts and fuel suppliers, lethargy is the marketer's friend - many will stick with what they know and because of one or two aspects that work for them. I am one of them I guess. The alternative, which I think is just as bad, maybe worse, is those who switch as soon as a cheaper, better, newer option comes out (golf clubs spring to mind :))

Always stick with iPhones due to their connectivity with my Macbook and iPad. Also, the cloud is hugely important- my whole family share a folder where we store and share my kids' photos.

I've had my iPhone 5 for 3 years and it's starting to get a little temperamental. I have absolutely no need for the most up to date version, so I'll get myself the 5s or 6 at less than £25 a month.

Some of the biggest Apple Geeks in our IT are seriously underwhelmed about this version ....for whatever that means!

As said below... Inertia and habit has a lot to answer for...folk get offered updrades at contract end and off they go.

...bit like Golfers when THIS WEEK'S new driver comes out!

Just got a new SE last week. This will probably last me until the iOS is not updatable on it which I am hoping will be at least 4.5 years or more away. Have just turned my old 4s into an iPod so that I can Bluetooth the music in my car.

I am happy with the 4s my work has provided me with some years ago. Does everything I need it to do more than adequately. Emperor's New Clothes as far as I am concerned, but hey - I don't have a GPS/laser golf thingy so unlikely to be that excited or interested in the latest iphone thingy

It's funny that each new model they bring out coincides with features on my 4s failing more and more

Of course there could be no link with an increase in software issues on my phone and the launch of a new model!

I was thinking of getting the new version of the Apple watch last week so went to my local Apple Store, had a sales pitch and thought I would go for it as my Fitbit bust recently.

I wanted a stainless steel case (being from Sheffield) and a plain plastic blue strap, plus need the larger size as my eyesight isn't fantastic without specs. Decided to take the plunge but then almost fell over when the Apple advisor asked me for £699.

This is about twice the cost I was expecting and needless top say, I didn't bother. When i told the girl in the shop that I thought it was massively overpriced for something that I have to charge up every night, she said it was because the country voted to Brexit. Apple had put their prices up as a result.

I was a bit taken aback and asked her if that was actually what the company had said and she backtracked somewhat, saying it was just what the young, hip Apple staffers thought.

Knobheads.

Got to wait till 4th Nov for mine to arrive.

Not bothered in the slightest if people think it's a load of guff. I'll be dammed if I'll have anyone tell me what to spend my money on. Do I think its overpriced, yes, do I think its an improvement over the last one, yes but not by much.
The biggest seller for me, as with all the apple equipment I have. Is resale, when it comes round to flogging my current 6S plus, I'll get over £400.
I'm just about to upgrade my Macbook Pro, a late 2008 model that I paid £1300 for. I can still get £400 for a 8 year old laptop. Anyone tell me of a product line from any company that can do that?

I think there is some truth in the matter. In last few years, the products were usually around 100 less in £ than dollars. $699 in us £599 in U.K. Since the pound has weekend. Prices are same in both currency, hence they are now more expensive in U.K.

Thats exactly what I tend to do. I usually sell the phone and then pay up front on new one to lower the monthly payments. Generally get the latest ,ideas with all the usage I need for 30 a month.
