Why not start with your club pro? If they don't have a great stock, see if they'll do what mine does and charge me for tape/labour and let me order in what I want. I tend to use Gamola. Of course you could even try having a go yourself. It's not too hard and I could do it but truth is I'm a lazy git. Gamola offer Ping if you want to stick with them http://www.gamolagolf.co.uk/acatalog/Ping_Golf_Grips-p1.html

Have a look at gamola golf, something for all budgets

ps changing your own grips really is not difficult, if i can do it anyone can :D

Gamola have always looked after me. I have to ask them every last b***** time which is the slightly thinner version of the Basic Golf Pride.
I tend to buy the re-gripping kit as I can't be bothered to raid the shed.

Can't go wrong with Golf Pride Tour Velvets in my opinion. Cheap, and excellent

Another +1 for doing it yourself. When you buy grips from online, usually they come with instructions. I'd never re-gripped a club in my life, read the instructions in the delivery and did a whole set of irons. Granted I did have a vice on a workbench in my house at that point. That helped.

I will be doing mine my self in about April next year, it doesn't look too hard to be honest, i did my putter a month or 2 ago with no problems. I will use Gamola most likely - you also get 5% cashback on quidco with them.

A really easy way to grip clubs is to use a small air compressor (I use a car tyre inflator) - use the football inflater pin and push it through the top hole of the grip. Use a wrap of masking tape and a squirt of something like hairspray and the grips slide on brilliantly. They dry real quick and are able to be used straight away. Beauty is, if you like the grips, you can move them on to your next set of irons. Or alternatively, if you don't like them you can use the same process in reverse to get them off without wrecking them

Golf pride dual-compound. I've used AG on Street Lane at Moortown (I assume from your handle your live in the area), and they were fine

meh, best 20 quid i spent was getting the junior pro to do mine, job was 100% spot on, i didn't have to buy tape or white spirit, I didn't then stink of white spirit for the next few days either!

Lamkin uTx grips too, awesome in all weathers!
