Sotted this on the TG website:
PrideSports, manufacturer of Softspikes cleats, the number 1 Cleat brand on Tour, has once again challenged conventional thinking with the launch of the Softspikes ClubGrip, the first-ever golf "grip wrap" to enter the market.
The Softspikes ClubGrip comes in packs of 3 and is available in Black and Green colour options with a suggested retail price of £3.75.
For more information on the Softspikes ClubGrip please visit www.softspikeseurope.com

Will these grips change the way clubs are re gripped or will the old style grips continue to be the way regripping is carried out?

If they wind over existing grips surely fattening the grip will affect the grip and ultimately performance?
Id say traditional grips are here to stay for the next while yet. We just need grips that keep their tack a little longer. I suppose grips suffer the same problems as tyres, good grip is great while they last but have a short lifetime, harder compounds last longer but grip less.

I have thought about doing this, as Mrs mog is a tennis player, and this looks a sensible option. The grips are tacky when new, you wrap them on, all is well.

However, the tape is more expensive than a new proper grip, so why not go down the proper route?

Also, if the grips are worn, try a lower lofted club.
