new grips

just wondering if you do your own re-gripping or get the pro to do it ??
the reason i ask is, that i just put some new golf pride decage ( black n white )grips on my brand new vokey wedges today, just so they match the rest of my irons, and it was a piece of cake to do.

I get the Pro to do it, as he only charges for the grip not the fitting.

I can do it and have done it but there are times when I just can't be asked. How much is everyone who does it themselves paying for the grips (and which ones) and the tape

I really enjoy re-gripping clubs and get great satisfaction out of doing it myself. I was taught how to do it years ago by our assistant pro and I was amazed at how easy it was.

It's not hard at all and there is a huge amount of personal satisfaction to it. It's just sometimes I'm an inpatient bugger and what them done NOW and don't want the hassle myself. £18 for golf pride sounds way to good to be true. Where did you get them and are you sure they aren't fakes?
