Well I struck my first golf ball about a fortnight ago - taking a beginners class.

Since I'm now 30 and drive a Volvo, I thought it was about time! I'm a personal trainer by trade - so looking to apply what I know in terms of core conditioning and balance to Golf.

Anyone got a little wisdom they'd care to share to help me get up to speed ? :)
 
Welcome to golf and the forum. I started at 30 absolutely addicted.

In terms of core conditioning you'd need to focus on golfers with good weight transfer or the stack and tilt crowd. Core strength is only going to help those with a sound swing. If they look like a frog in a blender they'll get nowt out of it.
