New golf thinking now available in paperback

I might buy one... If any of you GM NGT guys have got yours and signed it thus devaluing it then let me know.....

Thankfully there are people here who don't value your opinion,

I welcome the additional format as viewing on iPhone was a tad small
Hope it reaches a wider audience .

Very uncalled for remark - regardless of whether you value my opinion doesn't mean I'm not allowed to voice my opinion - believe this thread wasn't about me or a chance for you to have a cheap dig at my expense.

He has a point... We're all well aware of your thoughts/opinions...

Lots of people have opinions on here everyone is well aware off - doesn't mean people can't post those opinions.

Money and having your head full of nonsense making you think to much

There is a "what golf book" type thread on here on a weekly basis almost.

Hank Haney, Bob Rottella etc

All lauded by many folk on here.

Not quite sure why this particular publication is so decisive?

Have you read it?

Yep I have read it - I have read other books in regards technique etc but reading the NGT just seemed full of clutter and trying to rehash and re word stuff that most people already do - also a lot of common sense.

I downloaded it and gave up on it after a few pages, just seems like it would fill your head full of more stuff that you don't need while playing golf.

If it works for others then fine but not for me at all.

Just ordered from amazon, other online trailers are available, nothing to lose.

I find most of these are half enlightening and half common sense. Thing is when on the course common sense can quite often go out the window. Hopefully it will help if not I'll have a good read and another golf book on the shelf.

How is everyone finding NGT, has it helped them lower their scores or just helped enjoy the game more?

Hmmm.... Might take a look at this given the positive vibes from the forum...

Definitely well worth it, has helped me no end.

To you maybe, but to me, golf, before reading the book, was like looking at a work of art through Vaseline smeared glasses, reading NGT cleaned the glasses and now I can see the metaphorical work of art.

Correct Phil. The less tripe between the lugs the better.

Not at all, reading NGT has helped clear my mind of unrequired golfing clutter.

Actually one of the main things I took out of it was to clear my head too many swing thoughts and associated clutter.

As above, I agree totally.

NGT is not a book to be read cover to cover, there is a lot in there, which many will think will just clutter the mind. It's not trying to tell a story, but is meant as a reference, something you refer when required. Do the self assessment form and read the chapters it highlights as your weak area(s).

I love these magic solutions, do any of them actually work?
