So my adidas tour 360's have packed it in and the back has fallen out. On the lookout for some new shoes. Must have soft spikes and be waterproof. What does everyone recommend? Ideally looking to spend around £60 but can spend more if it makes a big difference. Does the BOA shoes actually make a difference to anything?

Cheers!

I always recommend the Adidas Boost shoes (I've got/had 3 pairs of the Gripmore ones) as they are the most comfortable I've tried.

You should be able to get last years for around £60 I think (I did earlier this year from Golf Depot).

Got a pair of the BOA ones, it is quite a good system, not sure I'd pay more for it tbh if the lace up model was in my budget also where the dial in is on the Adidas shoes (on top of the tongue) is quite annoying, would be better on the heel like FJ's.

Another vote for Gripmore's. Comfiest shoe I've had so far.

Few of my mates have had issues with 360's and returned them under warrenty and received replacements. The inside of the shoe around the achilles area all ripped apart.

Personally I can't wear Adidas shoes due to an old ankle injury and how they fit around that area

I would recommend trying as many different ones as you can to find what suits you best

I have a pair of Puma Amp Cell Fusion that are now 4 years old and still fit as comfortable as the day I got them, and a pair of Callaway shoes that I paid about £40 for a couple years ago

Sweet cheers guys, will have a look at these. That's exactly what has happened to my 360's, the back has completely torn out. I have had them for 2 years though and worn them a lot so they have done their time.

this is like saying what colour car should i buy. all these threads do is give you a big list of shoes that other people with different feet to you like. bottom line is you have to try some on for yourself and make up your own mind.

Just got a pair of Footjoy Energize with BOA fitting. Never used that before but think its brilliant. So precise to adjust and if you need to adjust it mid round it is so easy compared to laces. American Golf said they have never had a pair of BOA shoes returned due to the wire breaking etc.

I got a deal over Bank holiday so got these for about £85. RRP is about £10 more. Very happy and would advocate BOA for sheer ease of use.

I'd agree with trying on various shoes to see what YOU find comfortable. I can't wear Adidas as they are just too narrow for me (and before anyone asks, yes, I've tried all the options).
My last purchase was Footjoy DNA 1.0. I've always wore size 9 in Footjoy but in the DNA's I was size 8.
For your money you should be able to get Footjoy AQL's which are always a good bet.
But if you want to stand out from the crowd ........
Puma Biofusion
