Hall of Famer
As you will be aware Mike Harris has asked me to produce the new forum pages for the magazine. One of the things we are really keen to do is spotlight several forum members each month in the "meet the forum section". If you would like to be included then send me a mail to golfmonthlyforum@yahoo.co.uk with your user name and real name. I'll forward a short list of questions for you to complete and return with a good quality face picture of yourself and hopefully we can get your name in lights.
In the "meet of the month" Mike and I have agreed that the game on the 7th at Princes with Medwayjon will lead the way and feature in the April edition, there will be a full round up of the eagerly anticipated Scotland vs England meet the following month (get your pictures sent in) and the Ascot meet will feature the month after that.
If anyone is arranging to meet up with fellow forummers for a game (4 balls or larger) post the detials in the relevant forum section and we will try and preview as many as possible. If anyone is looking for a game the "Arrange a Game" section is there for you to get yourself sorted and to test your skills with fellow members in your neck of the woods.
The "Review of the Month" will look at the reviews you write and publish in this section of the forum and I'll be looking to take and feature the best one each month. Mike has said that where possible he'll make sure the whoever has their review used will receive a small prize as a thank you.
I'm obviously deeply proud to have been chosen to pull this stuff together each month but at the end of the day I am reliant on you guys keeping me up to date, especially with meets and reviews and I'll do what I can to make sure that as many different forummers are featured (and not just the same old names). If you are lurking in the shadows now is the time to step into the light and get involved and who knows it might be you starring in GM next month.
