Taken the plunge and joined the forum today as decided this is the season to start playing again instead of the usual 2 games a year. Be good to hear from anyone local to me who wouldn't mind someone tagging along for a game. Will update my profile as soon as I suss it all out.

Not at all, plenty of reds. Be warned though, MikeH (editor of GM!) is a massive Blue fan. I will remind him of the league table next week...

(1)set of clubs
(2) sense of humour
(3) lodsa balls
(4) Golf balls
(5) your own Donkey
(6) a sombrero

SteO hello and welcome enjoy :) plenty from your neck of the woods so you'll have no problem getting a game.

Look at the hillside thread too if you quick I see there are a couple of late spaces.

Not much to tell really. Approaching the big five oh!! Avid LFC fan and frustrated golfer. Starting playing when I lived in Scotland and was a member at Murcar. Since moving back to Liverpool haven't really played as much golf as I would have liked but that hasn't stopped me from changing clubs on a regular basis - after all it can't be my fault that the ball doesn't go were it should!!! I do own a big Sombrero and on a good day - which isn't that often - a big dorsal fin has been known to appear!!

Live and drink in Crosby and was playing Formby Hall the year before last. At the moment not a member anywhere but as getting the bug again looking to join somewhere soon.


Have been known to partake in a Pina Colada or two and hoping to be drinking Champagne come the end of the footy season!!

Get yourself down to North Hants for the H4H day in September - it appears that GM Liverpool will be staying in the travelodge in fleet and it could be messy :D
