Just watching the SS2 coverage of the players championship, and butch keeps saying how well David Lynn is adjusting to the new environment he is living.

Now I have visited america and there food isnt that much different to english food! yeah sure there isnt an abundance of yorkshire puddings and mushy peas, but what would this really have a massive impact on a golfers game?

American portions are about double ours. Donuts and coffee and pancakes with syrup for breakfast are not really the norm over here.

I agree that overall the food is rather similar.

Americans idea of veg is a slice of dill pickle. They just don't eat vegetables. I used to go to Florida quite a bit, and the veg aisle in the mart is pretty small. Beautifully presented, but small. And the guys at the till just don't recognise it. I used to get some of it for free, as they had no idea what it was, and couldn't be bothered to get a price on it. If they wanted me to charge for it, they should have put a ticket on it.

Food in the US is burgers and fries, or steak and fries. I can't live on that.

I think hes talking more along the lines of golf courses, weather and the high percentage of idiotic people :D
