Been off the site for a little while, but back with a vengance......and a question.

Anybody out there tried or got themselves a Callaway FTI-Q?

I was at Hoebridge Golf Centre in Surrey today where they had a free session on their Vector Launch Monitor / CSwing. Out of curiousity (which often turns out to be expensive), I tried one of these out. What a difference it made....longer straighter drives from first hit. I currently have a Callaway FTI.

I guess I am only asking to see if anyone else has had the same sort of experience with this club. I suppose I like to be sure before I part with nearly £300.

Thanks guys

I haven't tried it but have seen it in the shops and it looks an acquired taste. If you want something a little cheaper and a bit more traditional looking my Homer Simpson thumbs up of the week goes to the R7 limited.

Agree that it is definitely not everyones cup of tea when looking at a square club at address. I did try the Diablo and G10, but just could not get away with them.

Think I will check out what Golfbidder have to offer and see what if I can part-ex.

Hiya Mark

yea i tried 1, and treated myself to it, im getting on well, but ive always used a square head driver, but its deff given me an extra few yards, and more regular straight drives, deff worth thinking about,

But as the others say the square head is a bit odd to get used to 1st

Not tried one myself but used to have an fti. But I don't like to talk about those days.

I keep trying to convince my self that I could benefit from a new titleist driver but to be fair I think even if I got a consistent 10 yards out of it it wouldn't be worth the cash. Can you justify the spend and if so, how much is it going to cost you per yard? :D

Only reason I may change drivers is because I am now hitting draws. Anything too good is toooooo good and I end up way left of the fairway, usually in the trees. I might sample some nuetral faces.
