Hello all

I am in the market for a new driver. This will be the first 'new' driver I have had after always using my playing partner's hand me downs.

Yesterday at my local American Golf I tried out 5 different drivers in their hitting room. These were

1. Callaway Razr X Black
2. Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 (white)
3. Taylormade Burner Superfast (black)
4. Benross RIP speed driver
5. Cobra Amp D

I narrowed it to the Callaway and Superfast White, both of which appear to have good deals on at present (both circa £100). I am swayed by the Superfast but have not been sucked in by all this white head driver fashion.

Has anyone used any of the above and offer any advice?

I've just both a callaway octane black (the predecessor to the razr x I think)

I love it hit it so well today and the sound is weird but I like it, I think the razr x is still a "forged composite"

I've given a burner super fast a hit and it went miles but I found it very hard to control

The R11s is out there for around 130 ish, well worth a look.

Hello there Ive owned the Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 (white) & Taylormade Burner Superfast (black)

Both amazing clubs, Very long and very light, Pretty easy to hit but some people struggle with the extra length in the shaft.

I would go for the white one, It looks good, its going quite cheap now and the white head gives it the look of the head is bigger giving you that bit extra confidence.
