i let a mate share my driver today and he loves it, offered me £90 for it and a pair of shoes so i'm going to AG to try some out for size tomorrow as a replacement.
Am thinking Taylormade Burner or a Callaway FT-5....depending how i get on with them obviously!!

what i'd really like to do is get customised for whichever i go with properly. so think i'll see which generally 'feels' better and then try to get to the proper fitting centre to ensure shaft etc is spot on, or jump on golf bidder if AG have the spot on setup for me :)

happy days!

my mate has the Hyper x, a leftie unfortunetly! am getting on really well with my TM 3 wood at the moment and am thinking of titleist irons in the not too distant future so am liking the idea of keeping them 'uniform' if possible....

I find it very easy to hit and preferred it over the D1. Off centre shots stray slightly but no where near as much as you may think -They hit long too, I'm getting about 270-80 yards from mine in comparison to 260ish with my old taylormade. I have the Adila DVS shaft and the set up works a dream.

Direct Golf have them in store for 125. I found mine on eBay.

I have the MX560 and can thouroughly recommend although you (and your playing partners) will need ear defenders when you hit it! Dont think that you will find many instore at AG as they are going for £79 now.

Another option is the well acclaimed Ben Sayers Benny for £69 at AG, this won loads of awards last year beating far more expensive and better known drivers.

You can also test out the Taylor Made Burner which i have tried and is a VERY good driver, if you get on well with it in AG get them to price match against this supplier (also dont forget that you get an extra 10% off this making it £89.99!!!!)

Callaway Hyper X - Yet again, a great club at a great price, but you will be very luck to find one instore.

Best of luck and enjoy ;)

The D1 might look ugly but i start with this start of last year and was hitting it not 2 bad but was hitting it a bit high so i dropped 2 degrees and went with the D2 which only took out a few times as i didnt like it at all. totaly different club and heavier in head. I will be selling it now cause i cant hit my D2 any better if i tryed and i can hit it very long aswell.

I prefer the look of the D2 tho but try both as looks arent eveything as i learned the £££ way.

Had a hit with the Yonex Nanospeed,Srixon Z-RW and the Macgregor mt 460 all where very good.

All where 10.5 stiff flex a bit softer than i normally use but the cold weather mixed with layers i been struggling to get through my current driver.

I got all the models going pretty well easy enough which is what i after when i not swinging too well, iam straying towards the Srixon with its classic look.

Before you buy have a try of the more less used drivers in store you could be suprised
