I went to my local AG on Thursday and tried out the Nike Machspeed black sq head driver. First thing I noticed was the difference between the face sizes between that and the round head. It is quite small compared to the round head and most other 460cc drivers. None the less I got it taped up and out on the range to give it a go.
I was pretty impressed that it is quite easy to hit and had a nice ball flight (10.5* reg shaft). I tinkered about with the head and tried some other settings and was happy with them also. It does as it says on the tin.
I got it for a penny under a ton as they priced matched Onlinegolf (AG still have it priced £179.99 so I feel it is a bargain)
While I was there someone had left a demo Mixuno JPX 7 iron so I hit a few balls with that too.
WOW what a forgiving easy club to hit. Hit around ten balls with it and they all went circa 150 yards carry and pretty straight with really nice flight. Only then did I check the shaft......graphite and ladies...!!!!
