New driver has arrived!

My ft-9 arrived this morning and looking in good condition, a few wear marks on sole as to be expected but nothing drastic unlike my old one! Although after unpacking there was a little rattle in the head like a small piece of grit! Is this a drastic sign, it's the imix version so can take shaft out if I can get hold of a wrench to have a look. Any advice if I should send back or something minor I can sort myself?

After a few swings in the garden it seems to have stopped but obviously something in there.

Prob a bit of weld or glue in it. Should be no problem, if you can put up with the rattle.

A pro should be able to remove and save the grip and let out any loose glue etc.

I love my FT-9. So much that I recently picked up a 909D2 that made it on to the course only once before the FT-9 was back in the bag. Its a very under-rated piece of kit....Its still a bit ugly though, but then again, so am I...

Took club to my pro who said it will prob need going back to callaway but with being bought from fleabay they may not be interested! Gutted so may send back to the seller! Double gutted!

Well I emailed callaway on Sunday night and got an automated response to tell me to ring a number on Monday customer services. Great thinks me already being passed around. Call the number Monday morning and speak to reception who put me through to a voice mail. Great start. Leave message. An hour later still no call back. Then walking home with my daughter the phone goes it's callaway, so after brief chat tells me to drop with my pro and send it back to them and they will repair it and send it back to me. Cracking result even if they did panic me to start with!!
