Im starting saving in advance if I am to change clubs next year as the one Im at now does not challenge me as much anymore and was thinking about changing not too bothered about price thats why I am saving now.

Any reccomendations
What should I be looking for
Should I just stay

What area are you in?
How far do you want to travel?
short or long course?
etc.

Age-14
h/c-10

Mono - I thought you were off 18? and why would you change if the course you are on isn't challenging and then opt for something short. Surely there won't be the variety of shots available to you that a longer course would offer.

Seeing as you're suddenly way down handicap wise and have to give me shots I'm up for a game for cash

stay. surely you'll find that overtime the 'new' course would again seem not very challenging. What would you do? Change clubs again? Don't bother stay with people you know and where you have respect, well very little :), from other members

That is one of the reasons am moving pete they have no respect the golf members (juniors) they have gone quite snobby.

I have much respect to many but only if I will get it back.

BTW Im joining two clubs next year.

I'd have thought that you should be in low single figures if the course stops becoming a challenge...

I'm kinda looking for a change due to really bad drainage at mine, fed up knee deep in mud

What has made you decide to resign from your club only to join two more clubs? Would you not be better off staying with your existing club and join just one more.

It may help if we knew which club you are presently a member of, so we are able to offer you some help in suggesting a course that is different to the one that no longer offers you a proper challenge.

If you do quit your present club and join two more clubs instead, have you an idea of what type of courses would offer more of a challenge to you. IE: parkland, moorland, links etc. Would you be prepared to cross the Mersey and play on the Wirral or is transport a problem. I believe there is a ferry 'cross the Mersey that would enable you to take your golf clubs with you.

Possibly the best way you could decide this is to go play clubs within your travelling distance (when you're fit again) and then pick the one you like the best? You can just pay green fees at most clubs to try them out, and some of them will refund the green fee if you then join!
Just an idea?

Homer Our club juniors did***** DID do it slightly different in the winter in stead of freezing our handicaps we got a different one in winter till the summer and that was when I must have told you I was off 10.

On one post you are off 10 and on another you say you're off 17.4. That's a hell of a discrepancy and would surely make a huge difference to the type of track you'd want to play.

C'mon Homer, anyone can have 70 bad qualifying rounds in a row.
