New Club - Club Champs Day 1

This weekend is the 1st club champs I've played in after joining a new club at the start of the year. Played over both days, which is different to the 36holes in the day from previous club.

Course should be looking perfect, fairways have been like capets recently, so it'll be worth tring to find a fe of them!!

Should be able to catch a couple of hours of how it's really done from Lytham before going out in the 2nd last group this afternoon - hopefully I'll be going out in a similarly placed group come tomorrow

Leave the driver at home, padlocked in a box, buried in the garden, with a great big hungry dog guarding it.
3 wood will be enough for a player of your ability.
Just enjoy the glorious weather we're promised and play with a smile on your face.

Ours is next week. Same format, 18 holes on Saturday and then top 30 qualify for the next day. After today's display, I'll be booking something other than golf for next Sunday

Ours started today I'm 2nd so far shooting a gross 78 lowest medal round this year for me and trailing the leader by 1 out again at 8:42
