New Celtic Manager Brendan Rodgers

They've done pretty well to get him I think, should imagine he could have got a PL job.

Might help him learn how to win aswell as being a good coach

Interesting season with the OF next season, both have good managers

Thought he'd be a bit more ambitious than Celtic? Could easily have got a PL club

Watford or Celtic or hang around and see if Newcastle comes up, but they didn't go for him after McClaren.
European football and possibly a chance to manage a league winning side, I reckon he's done the right thing personally.

The easy option was sitting in the house and collecting his Liverpool gardening leave salary for the next 2 years.

No Newcastle went for Benitez who was clearly the better option.

Its a given that Celtic will win the league. They've just won it with Ronny Deila being in charge. Like I said, thought he'd be a bit more ambitious.

Rodgers is from NI and with a name like Brendan was almost certainly a Celtic supporter as a kid (everybody in NI who follows football takes some interest in either Rangers or Celtic, if only as a secondary team after a Premiership team).

I think it's a great appointment for celtic. Plays a good style of football and I'll bet the increase in ticket sales will pay his wages. Looking forward to next season for a change.

Good luck to him, I hope he enjoys many years of success.

Villa would have been a better choice or at least wait until what happens at Newcastle and Benitez.

Ideal fit for either of those clubs

As a Birmingham fan I am only sorry he didn't get the Villa job.

Image obsessed charlatan.
