I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve as after a 12 week wait my new car comes tomorrow.

A Skoda (never thought I'd have typed that a few years ago) Superb.

Lovely colour and fully loaded spec. For once I can't wait to drive to Chelmsford (living the dream) on Tuesday morning. How long the honeymoon will last I'm not sure but I'll give it a month anyway.

*Does excited dance*

A Superb is top of my list when my car is next up for renewal. Have you gone hatchback or estate? Great looking cars and should swallow golf gear for fun. Pics and reviews tomorrow please.

Went saloon as I'm not a sort of "doing stuff and needing to move biggish things around" bloke.

Will oblige with some pics tomorrow.

Lent my new car to the missus ... Average consumption was 21mpg 😦!! It's an auto, usually get about 27 out of them.

Don't do new cars. Had mine for 6 years, Mrs has had hers for 14 years. Mines got to have another 4 years in it minimum. Hers less. Maybe.

Harsh......but fair :o

Sorry Johnny :D

My other half picked up her new (2nd hand) car on Saturday. Citroen DS4 2.0 diesel sport, fully loaded with absolutely everything you can think of, really impressed with it.

Only thing stopping me getting a Skoda, is the local dealer is Arnold Clarke. was in last week looking at the new Passat and Golf estates.

no one was around so wanted to have a look at the boots sizes of both, do you think i could work out how to get either of them open???

had to ask in the end, but liked the new release mech.

It's here and it's the canine's doo-dahs!!

It has everything and then some. I'll take some pics later. The only downside it was delivered from Tamworth and the beautiful metallic petrol blue has blimmin dirt on it now as it was a bit wet on the trip down according to the guy who delivered it .

But one word...WOW!!!!!!

I've got a Skoda Superb Greenline II. 2.5 years old, 70k on the clock. Not rapid but economical and a great mile eater. Loads of space in the back and the boot. When it's due for renewal, I'll be looking at another.

What is the spec, engine size, manuual/auto, extras? Come on, it's boy toys time.

150 BHP 2.00 litre diesel 6 speed - quiet quiet quiet! sat nav - adaptive cruise - parking sensors - metallic petrol blue - cracking DAB sound system - lecky heated seats - his & her umbrellas in the doors (no, really!!) eco, normal, sport modes, and about a squillion other buttons and lights that do (at this stage God know what) but look like an awful lot of fun.

Had mine 13 yrs now, 1.9, 130horse TDI. Very comfy on cross country trips, just a bit big in car parks. Yes, even the unmbrella in the nearside rear door is a quality bit of kit too. It is affectionally known as the Barge:)

2 weeks into my new Skoda Superb 2.0Estate SE Business, and it is truly the business.

Sooooooooo much space, both boot and passenger, and so much kit on it as standard.

Having driven company passats and audis audis for 20 years I reckon it beats them all hands down.

First time ive ever had an estate as well, reckon you could fit at least 4 sets of clubs in the boot.

Mine's the same spec only in the saloon and had many company cars over the years too and this is so far the best of 'em all.

Had BMs for about 10 years in the 90s and 00s and this, what wit the modern specs etc. just oozes a classy motor for the money.
