Hi all

Just nabbed myself an A3 Sportback and am pretty confident that my old Clicgear 2.0 will be slightly to big for the boot, when sat next to my Cobra Trolley bag

What is the smallest folding push trolley available?

I have heard the Clicgear 3.5 is pretty good, but wanted to hear your opinions

Went through all this when I bought my MX5 and all the newer fold down in three parts trollies were too square and bulky. In the end my Sun Mountain fitted perfectly :-)

Why didn't you put the horse before the cart and buy a car suitable for carrying loads of golf gear. That is always my first consideration when changing cars.

Sweet. Nabbed myself a Q3 which is coming next week and have the same issue. I've never even sat in a Q3 before but I figured it would be OK as it's an Audi. But I think the boot is smaller than my current car so may also have to downsize trolleys.

Company car

No choice im afraid.

Edit - well the choices were 1 series M sport or an A class AMG Sport

The Merc has a shockingly small boot, 1 series is butt ugly (IMO obviously) so the A3 Sportback was picked. It is "kind" of a small estate. Got a Springer Spaniel also that needs ferrying around at times.

I have an A220 AMG and find the boot ok. My carry bag sits across the back perfectly (driver/FW out obv.) And my boot organiser case sits perfectly alongside it. Boot is deceptive on it IMO.

You are forgiven.

Jeez, who do you work for, 'Goes like Hot Snot Monthly'?;)

To be fair i was offered the allowance also and was seriously considering getting a E350 estate.

Wife drives an A6 Avant though, so there is no need for two monster cars in the house.

the A3 ticks all the boxes, except its just a lot smaller than my previous cars.

Besides which

I am now getting a new car and have managed to convince the wife that i need a new golf gadget to fit in it......

I should be congratulated :D

Im looking for a new trolley myself and have narrowed it down to thes1 lite or the Powerkaddy twinline 4 , can anybody with the Motocaddy advise if the smaller wheel on the front gives any resistance in the wet/ boggy conditions as that's the only thing stopping me pulling the trigger on it over the bigger wheeled Powerkaddy.

My advice would be forget all of the ones you have mentioned and get a 5 series saloon. I just pop the boot, throw the clubs in and shut it. No messing around taking clubs out or wiggling it in, it just goes straight in there.

Ive just flogged a 550i, so agree on the size of the boot.

Not an option now though as i have have ordered the S-line

played with a guy on Sunday who just bought a new Audi R8 and had size issues - he wanted the smalest electric trolley and bought this - very impressed how it folds up - not the sturdiest trolley I have seen but it seemed to work fine

On the Push front, the one Rick G has is very good - it is a 4-wheel good brand but can't remember which one
