New callaway range

im just off to the driving range and know they have a Callaway demo day going on so good chance can have a play.

Anything you guys think is a 'must-try'.

Im temoted to hit those razr XF irons, the big GI ones that monty has in the bag, purely out of curiosity.....

No way , if I had £1100 to spend in clubs they would almost definitely be mp59's.

Just interested to see what they are like.

Ive seen them, a local shop has a set in, they are quite shallow, surprisingly, just fail to see where the price tag comes from....
Defo NOT a set for the Purists

Had a quick hit with a XF 8 iron with a GS95 shaft, lovely tacky almost gel-like grip, shaft felt really short almost PW length.

Strike felt nice and silly high ball flight but still good distance, they are pretty chunky but as the head is a little longer they didnt appear to the eye at least overly big. I was quite impressed to be honest and if you are a beginner/casual golfer who has loads of cash then why not?

Also hit the RAZR forged, again a nice club, similar topline to my MP53's and I did like them but not enough to tempt me.

Overall I think they have a pretty good range and seem to cover all the bases. I did have a little look at the RAZR MB forged but the hailstones started so I wussed out and went home lol.

The razr xf is a very nice club, I also really like its design, dunno why, but it doesn't seem at all chunky to me, that sad, 1000 pounds is a silly amount of money to pay for irons, I think I'd want them to have diamonds in them or something for that price!

I've hit them and they ain't that bad, but if I had a spare £800 it would be spent on razr forged in the blink of an eye.....
