Arrived today from Online golf www.onlinegolf.co.uk Iv used them a few times before. About 6 months ago I picked up a brand new Adams Redline RPM (Draw bias) driver for £49 delivered with headcover! Before that a Nike CPR rescue hybrid wood for £45!

This time I just bought a new Benross V6 Trimass 3 wood (adjustable weights), inc headcover & delivery for £39.99!! I mean a quality wood for that price is excellent, normal price is over £100.

Needless to say I took it down to the range just now and very impressed. Very easy to hit it a good distance (210 plus yards average with range balls), a quite forgiving on off centre hits. Though it seems to work better with a moderate speed swing rather than forcing it with a faster swing (or maybe its just me!). I need some more practice at the range with it, have to get used to the smaller face than many 3 woods. Also practice hitting off the deck some more as not my strongpoint, advice appreciated.

It has adjustable weights but I will look into that later as never had a club with these, not sure, any advice on this matter also appreciated. It has neutral or draw bias, I am in general a fairly straight hitter, if anything a slight fade.

Will give a better evaluation on it after a bit of usage over time :)

I agree with you craw.....benross do make good kit, as do MD (presuming that's what you meant?).

I've been checking out the benross stuff at the range....the only thing that puts me off is that the gear is priced much higher than online. if I was after the premium stuff, i'd be happy to pay £20 more (or whatever) to support local business etc, but £20 more on £40 or £50 kit seems a lot (percentage-wise).

I've been looking online today for 3-Hybrids, then cross referencing with the manufacturers web-sites for detailed spec (shaft weight and swing weight). it's quite hard to find these detailed specs on the cheaper-end-of-the-market gear.....makes me worry about buying from them.
anyway, i'm seeing the pro tomorrow.....he'll put me right (i'm sure).
