OOOOooooohhhh, terrace legends such as Samba and golf, I think I've woken up in heaven.

If they can now do Adidas columbia in golf shoes, I will die a happy man.

Thats this years pair sorted, who cares if they dont give you an 20 yards.

Since early days when i started playing had couple pairs of Adidas shoes that split for fun so never been big fan of them,but....these do look nice n comfy......

Not sure of the value range for £40,dont think the upper mesh will last to long with twisting of the foot,so will hang on few months see how the others get rated.....thought of playing golf in Samba's:)

Proably used to when I started off at Royal Allerton.

I like them. I guess they had to do this to match the Nike Dunk. I know Ecco started it, but I can see why Addidas and Nike are jumping on the wagon. They don't look like golf shoes, but then why do they have to?

There is no way that my golf club would allow you in the club house wearing the street style ones. They would be ruled as trainers, and you would be asked to leave.

On the course, I think again that they would not be deemed to be golf shoes.

Ones with spikes in, I can't see how they can complain.

Good point murph.

I've always wondered if any courses wouldn't let you on the course with these or the Nike dunk ones you have that are pretty much trainers with soft spikes in?

I can't see how any one can complain they are not golf shoes if they have spikes in them. With out the spikes, they really are just trainers.

Those white Samba look really good and I would wear them in the summer. However, as contradictory as it sounds, I prefer golf shoes to look like golf shoes especially if worn with smart trousers.

those pumas are  the sambas on the other hand look the job for the summer! white or black? think im leaning towards the whites. i like the idea of someone on captains day actually thinking they are trainers while your standing on the first then absolutely pounding one down the middle. job done

I see what you mean, they are very borderline and resemble trainers my mates have for playing futsal.

I like the look of them but would fear wearing them as they are way too border line.

The samba ones however seem fine, although I reckon they would receive unnecessary negative attention from people out on the course.

Ash!!

big time snobbery here. would ricky fowler get turned away if he landed looking for a game in his crazy outfits and shoes?

I'm not being snobby at all.

Just stating that I think they are borderline trainers and would receive negative attention.

I'm there to rip the guts out of the course, not have an argument about the suitability of my footwear.

Ash!!
