This is going to sound a bit silly but what do you want it for?
Video playback for one or multiple people? Movies or video editing or both?
Document authoring?
Gaming? What sort?
In short TN monitors are cheap and good for reaction gaming.
IPS are superior quality picture and viewing angle but are less good for reaction games and are more expensive.

Don't do at lot of gaming so more for movies etc, so Guess that one would be ok.
