Anyone a subscriber of Netflix ?

BT offering a deal so thinking of giving it a try.

Tried to see what films were available but didn't see anything that was remotely recent, so may just use it for the box sets.

We have it and it is getting better. The films can't compare to Sky but every so often some good ones come on. The tv series are definitely improving, some Netflix own, some bought in. My kids, 15 & 17, certainly like it.

As a relatively low cost add on it is decent. Bear in mind it is internet based and so you need a decent connection.

I recently subscribed for the £7.99 package and I agree about the films but some of the box sets are fantastic. Already watched Stranger Things, the Sinner and now totally engrossed in Designated Survivor.

Great VFM!!

Yep, just watched Stranger Things, watching The Good Place also watching The Punisher with lots more on my wish list. VFM indeed

Another Netflix subscriber here. Get the odd relatively new film, i.e. a year or so old, some of which you'll know. However, as others have said, there are some great box set/series on there.

The box sets are great - the films less so (for me). Though if you search rather than just browse your Home Page there are lots behind the scenes, I recently found On the Beach was on Netflix and watched that as I had just finished the book

we have netflix, prime and sky. Netflix is awesome, i use it a lot when travelling, i download films/tv to my ipad which you can then watch in airplane mode. The kids are constantly watching something on there, and we occasionally get stuck into a decent box set of an evening too! Well worth the money.

Well worth the money. No need for sky as pretty much 90% of my TV time is Netflix.

Always adding new stuff and plenty to rewatch if in the mood.

One year cost is barely over £100

How does this work regarding poor broadband speeds, like those which will not support HD streaming without constant buffering?
Can you for instance download the start like a "buffer zone" to watch while the rest downloads in the background?

Darted over to BT excited only to find its same price as if I just got Netflix and streamed via my PlayStation

Pointless .. not an offer at all really

Yep I'm in favour too - watched all the Trek series over the last 18 months and finishing off now with Voyager. Lots of other good box sets on there and some pretty decent films too.

They even have some really nasty horror films. Homer's swing, ChrisD's physique, the Brexit thread on here .... horrible.

Love it, I cast it from my phone to the TV with a Chrome Cast.

Watched so many excellent series and currently wading through White Collar.

No. If the speed is not there then it will not start. Same with Amazon Prime. You don't get buffering, it just stops.

We have iffy broadband speeds and some nights you just can't watch it, it will not work. We could never go over 100% to a pure broadband viewing platform.

Out in the wilderness we only have 2gb.........nae bother, works well.

Another thumbs up here. Mrs JD badgered me into getting it this time last year for The Crown (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and at £7.99 it's superb value for money.

Pushed the button , got first month free then £5.99 a month for the single use SD package, if we use it we can always upgrade to HD for £7:49 a month..

Best of all BT reviewed all of our bundle and re did the pacakge we're on for £25 a month less :)
