Nefyn and District GC

Evening fella's, i'm playing at Nefyn on friday and was wondering if anybody has played there before and has any advice?

Its one of GMs top 100 courses so it must be a good track.

We played there at Easter - throughly enjoyed it.
Only advice I can think of is to watch out for walkers on the Old course which is a public right of way. We were there Good Friday so there were a lot of people to avoid!
We played first nine of new holes. Did ok playing steady.
Great views particularly on the 'Old' holes.

Just got back from a long weekend away and after playing nefyn on friday it is an absoloute belter of a course that i would recommend you've got to try.

We got there about 10:30 and the weather didn't look great, very dull and it must've been 40+mph winds. Nefyn is a proper links course with some heavy rough and the views are superb.

We played the first 10 holes then the other 8 on the old course with 2 of them blind shots onto the fairways.

I can't wait to get back there and play in nicer conditions as it was brutal at times with the wind but thoroughly enjoyed it!
