Natural Golf - Seve Ballesteros

I was reading "The Ultimate Short Game Guide", a freebie book included with a copy of GM last year. More specifically I was reading the two chapters written by Seve, both which were quite interesting and made a lot of sense. I decided to hunt a copy down and found a first edition hardcover in mint condition on Amazon for £5.99 including postage.... needless to say I ordered on the spot.

The book arrived yesterday and is in excellent condition, am really chuffed because most of the other hard back editions available on Amazon were more than double the price.

My dilemma now is when to read it? Am off on hols in 10 days,was planning on taking it to read whilst lounging around, but now that I have it, I keep wanting to open and read bits.......

Anyone else have this book?

I don't, but I never take hard back books on holiday. Too heavy, and too cumbersome.

I prefer to take paperbacks, which I can leave out there, and make some room in my suitcase for other new stuff to bring back.

We're driving in the car to France, so not worried about the weight of the book

What can you possibly learn from a book that you can't get from the forum?

I'd use it as a £5.99 doorstop

The problem with reading it on holiday is that everything in sight becomes a makeshift club and you'll want to try and put everything into practice. Better off leaving it at home and reading it when you get back so you can go the club and try it for real
